We stay in six-berth air-conditioned cabins that have an open and relaxed feel about them. A blanket, sheets and a pillow are provided, although some people may wish to bring their own sleeping sheet.
Your luggage is with you and can be stored overhead or under the bed. The toilet is squat one and will not open until it’s moving. Dinner in the food car will be at least RMB30 or you can bring your own picnic onboard. Drinks bought on the train will not be cold. Hot water for drinking is available.
