Day 4-5 Xi'an: Day 4 Xi'an ( orientation tour) Located in the northwest of China, Xi'an is the capital of Shaanxi province and is regarded as the political, economic and transportation center of the northwest and inland. Among the 6 major ancient capitals (Xi'an, Luoyang, Nanjing, Kaifeng, Hangzhou and Beijing) Xi'an was established the earliest and has lasted the longest, succeeding through most dynasties. Its fame in historical and cultural circles is beyond comparison. The West Zhou, Qin, West Han, Former Zhao, Former Qin, Later Qin, West Wei, North Zhou, Sui and Tang dynasties took Xi'an as capital. As a result, the historical influence of Xi'an, the ancient capital of thousands of years, cannot be compared to other cities. As one of the four ancient capitals in the world, Xi'an is a famous tourist attraction. The Terra Cotta Warriors, called "The Eighth Wonder of the World", are located in Lintong District of Xi'an. With over 6,000 pieces it is known as the greatest discovery of the 20th century. Additionally, Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi National Museum,Huaqing Pool and Huanshan Mountain are all famous sightseeing spots. Day 5,Day tour to Terra-cotta Warriors Museum, few hours free in the afternoon before catching the overnight train to Nanjing

Day 10-11 Hangzhou: Go to Hangzhou by chartered van. Two thousand years ago Hangzhou was nothing but a sandbar built up by the silt carried downstream by the river. It collected between two fingers of land and eventually created what is present-day Xi Hu, or West Lake, perhaps the most famous lake in China. The settlement remained a small fishing village until late in the sixth century, when the extension of the Grand Canal southward from the Yangtse led to the development of a busy commercial centre in the town.It prospered, especially during the tranquil early period of the Tang Dynasty, and its growth was assisted by the development of the lower Yangtse area into the nation's most important agricultural region. Day 11,Walk along the West Lake and taxi to Lingyin Temple
Day12-14 Shanghai: Day 12 Bullet Train to shanghai. 17 miles upstream from the Yangtze, Shanghai was a sleepy little fishing town on the Huangpu River, until the 1st opium War in 1842 when the British opened their first concession. The French&Japanese arrived not long after and each nation created their own concession governed by their own laws which were exempt from the Chinese.By the late 1920's it had developed a very international flavour, with motor cars, trams, buses, French cosmetics, Hollywood movies, multi-storied department stores and majestic buildings such as those along the Bund.It was during this time that Shanghai became known as the "Queen of the Orient".In 1949 Shanghai residents rightfully predicted turbulent times ahead and therefore many fled to Hong Kong. Those who remained, witnessed the Communist Part's attempt to clean up the city's opium addicts and put an end to visual child and slave labour. The 1990's saw the spark return to Shanghai. It is once again a vibrant and developing cosmopolitan city.Day 13,Orientation tour, Shanghai Museum and Old Street.Day 14,Tour depart in the Morning.
